Carrots

 - carrots
vegetable oil, as needed

my sous-vide cooker
large pot

about 30 minutes as much as you want

 

RECIPE STEPS

Heat My Sous-Vide to 194 °F / 90 °C

Prepare the carrots
Peel carrots if desired
Season with a little oil or butter, just enough to keep the carrots from sticking to each other
If using rainbow carrots, separate by color so they don’t bleed.

Bag and seal
Place dressed carrots into the bag and seal

Cook for 15-20 minutes
Lower bag into the water
Clip bag onto side of pot
Check the texture after 15 minutes - when the carrots bend a bit, they’re ready

Slice and season
Leave whole or cut into desired shapes, and season

Serve
